Mailplane custom css from userstyles.org

I have two major disappointments after switching to Mac: slow and buggy MS Office and inability of Firefox to render cyrillic fonts properly. The first one was compensated by the new iWork’08 and then Safari patiently pushed out Firefox from my working arena.

I use GMail heavily and really miss some Firefox plugins that I used to make my life easier. Especially I miss Stylish. Stylish has some nice styles for GMail which I was acquainted to. And Safari doesn’t handle gmail properly, it hangs, skips messages, etc…

Here comes Mailplane. Not only it integrates well with Max OS allowing to drag’n'drop files and pictures but allows to use custom style sheets on gmail. That was the first thing I made after downloading Mailplane closed beta.

To achieve familiar look I downloaded two Stylish style sheets from userstyles.org:

Styles were downloaded as user scripts for Opera and all I had to do is to eliminate unnecessary JavaScript and merge files in one. Here is the resulting file: Download mailplane.gmail.css

Place it wherever you want, point Mailplane preferences to it and restart the application. Voila!

I am way too lazy to post screenshots but style pages on userstyles.org are self-explainatory. And of course you could use any style you like.
